Navigating your Planability App

Credability Systems

This user guide will help explain how to use the Planability App. If you require access, have specific questions about your NDIS plan and the information displayed in your account, please contact your Plan Manager directly.

Accessing the Planability App

Download the App

Search for the Planability app in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and click Install. Depending on your phone’s settings, you may be asked to allow Notifications. You can manage which notifications you receive in your Profile settings in the App.

Log in for the first time

You will need a user account from your Plan Manager to log in to the Planability App.

If you have your username and password, simply enter them into the App, follow the authentication prompt. You will then be asked to set and confirm a 4-digit PIN. This will continue to be used to access the App in future.

If you’ve received a ‘Welcome Email’ from a Plan Manager granting you access to Planability, click on the link in the email to create your password. The link will open in your web browser, not the App. After creating your password, exit your browser and open the Planability App on your device. Enter your username and password, and follow the authentication prompt if required. You will then be asked to set and confirm a 4-digit PIN. This will continue to be used to access the App in future.

If you do not have a Planability User account, please contact your Plan Manager to be granted access.

1. Log in with your Planability credentials: Username and Password.

2. Follow the Two Factor Authentication process and enter the code sent to your email or mobile number.

3. Create and confirm a 4-digit PIN. This will be used for future secure access to the Planability App.

Forgot Username, Password or Pin Settings

Forgot Username
If you have forgotten your Username, open the Planability App and select ‘Forgot User Name’. You will be asked to enter your email address, and will receive an email containing your Username.

Forgot Password
If you have forgotten your Password, open the Planability App and select ‘Forgot Password’. You will be asked to enter your Username, and will receive an email prompting you to set a new Password.

Forgot PIN
If you have forgotten your PIN, open the Planability App and select ‘Forgot your PIN’. You will be redirected to the login screen to enter your Planability Username and Password, and set another PIN. Please follow the First Time Log In process.

Settings
Click on the Shield at the top right of your screen to select from your profile settings
From here you can view your Profile, Change your Password or your PIN and select which notifications you want to receive from the app.

View your profile, expand each section by clicking on the down arrow.

Select the notifications you want to receive by clicking on the toggle bar.

Update your email address or mobile number if required. We recommend using Two Factor Authentication for additional security, which you can receive by email or SMS.

Viewing your Plan information

Navigation

Navigation Tabs
At the bottom of the screen are three Navigation Tabs. For Participants, these will show Dashboard, Claims, and Budget.

Support Coordinators and Carers will see Participants, Claims and Plans.


Menu Bars
Click on the menu bars in the top left corner of your screen to open the main menu. In addition to the links to view your Plan Summary, Budget, Claims or Plans, you can access your Plan Goals and Monthly Statements.


Profile Menu
By selecting the Shield icon in the top right corner, you can access the Profile Menu. This will allow you to view your profile, change your password or PIN, or update your notification preferences.

Dashboard

When opening the Planability App, Participant Users will see a Dashboard showing their Plan budget, total spending, and remaining balance. The doughnut chart at the top shows the percentage of budget used, while the line chart below shows the days left until the plan end date.

Scroll down to see a breakdown of expenses by Category or Provider. Easily switch between the two by using the tab heading.
To see more detail, simply click on a coloured section in the chart. You can choose to view spending for the Current Month, Last Month, or All Time.
At the bottom of your screen, switch from Dashboard to view Claims or Budget by tapping on your choice.

Claims

Scroll down to view a summary of your claims. Click on the Invoice Number (highlighted in green) to view the claim information in more detail.
If the Claim has been sent to you for approval, you can approve or reject it from here. Scroll down on the Claim Details page first to review the services being claimed and view the Invoice. If you reject the claim you’ll need to enter a reason so that your Plan Manager can handle it correctly.

Budget

When you tap on Budget at the bottom of your screen you can view your Plan budget in more detail. It will be split into sections for Core Supports, Capital Supports and Capacity Building Supports. 

You can view a short explanation by selecting the drop down arrow next to Budget Calculation Explained.

You can even switch to view your budget on a previous plan if you have one, by selecting the drop down arrow next to your Plan ID.

This information can also be exported using the ‘Export as PDF’ button.

NDIS Goals

Click on the menu bars in the top left corner of your screen to open the main menu and select ‘NDIS Goals’. Use the arrow to expand or reduce the view of your Short Term, or Medium to Long Term Goals.

Statements

Click on the menu bars in the top left corner of your screen to open the main menu and select ‘Statements’ to view a display of all generated Monthly Statements for your selected Plan.

Click on the Statement ID (linked in green text) to download and open the statement on your device.

Support Coordinator & Carer Users

When you first open your Planability App, you will see a Dashboard showing Participants, Claims and Plans.

Select Participants to view your associated Participants. Selecting their name will take you directly to their Plan Summary with their Plan Management Agency’s branding. The navigation bar at the bottom of the screen will change to show Profile, Claims, and Budget. You can then navigate through the Participant’s detailed information as explained in this user guide.

To return to your main dashboard, select the menu bars in the top left corner of your screen and choose the option ‘Back to Dashboard’ at the top.

Budget Forecast Report

Support Coordinators have access to an additional budget tool – the Budget Forecast Report.
Accessible from a Participant’s Plan view, the Budget Forecast can be selected from the left menu:
